Why should I become a member of Burrumbeet Park & Windermere Racing Club?
Membership is a great way to support your local club and community, and enjoy some fantastic race day benefits.
Does my membership application need to be ratified by the board to join as a new member?
Yes, new members will have their application approved by the board at the next committee meeting. If your application is declined for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
How can I pay for a membership?
Memberships can be purchased online with secure payment with a Visa or Mastercard. Please contact us for alternative payment methods.
Are there members’ only facilities that I have access to on race day?
Our club does not have a designated Members area.
Who qualifies for a concession/senior membership?
Concession memberships are not available. Concession entry is available at the gate on race day (pension card holders).
What will I receive in my membership pack?
- Two membership cards including Petrogas Burrumbeet Cup Race Day entry
- Two complimentary standard drinks and one stubby holder per membership card
- Access to members facilities and entry to all Ballarat Turf Club meetings excluding Cup Day & Gold Nugget Day
When will I receive my membership card?
Membership card are normally sent 1-3 weeks after purchase for confirmed members, please allow more time during the busy renewal period.
What happens if my card is lost or stolen?
Membership cards can be replaced by contacting the club (service fee may apply). The old card will be cancelled and a new one will be issued.
Is there a Members’ car park?
No, we have ample on-site public parking to accommodate attendees.
How long does a membership last?
The membership season follows the racing season, which is 1 August – 31 July. We recommend renewing early in the season to maximise value from your membership.
If I can’t attend a race day, can a friend or family member use my card?
Yes, another person can use your membership pass if you cannot attend. Membership cards are scanned upon entry to the racecourse and can only be scanned in once.
Are there any reciprocal rights with other race clubs?
Access to members facilities and entry to all Ballarat Turf Club meetings excluding Cup Day & Gold Nugget Day
